Q: How long after getting my car touched-up can i wash it?
A: Flying colors uses high quality fast drying paints for both our
touch-up and bumper repairs, We prefer you wait at least 24 hours. before washing your car.(only use car wash soaps approved for your type of finish.)

Q: How long after getting my car touched-up can i wax it?
A: some commercial waxes contain strong chemicals such as kerosene,
these are designed to clean the surface of your car as it polishes. but can adversely affect uncured paint. we recommend the following:
My car was touched-up: wait 48 hours before waxing.
My car was painted(bumpers and panels): wait one week before waxing.

Q: I frequently get sap and or bird droppings on my car, how soon should i remove them from my car.
A: Immediately!!, we can not stress this enough. So many customers
come to us with unsightly blemishes caused by tree sap or bird droppings. These can be extremely difficult to repair and often require the affected area to be painted. Wash the affected area as soon as possible. Keep a good coat of wax on your car to help protect it.

Q: What is Clear Coat and what does it do?
A:Definition: Clear coat paint refers to the clear (non-pigmented) top coat paint that is applied over a colored base coat paint, and is found on most vehicles built in recent years. Clear coat is a first defense to many of the problems that can affect your paint, however it is a thin layer and is still susceptible to scratches and chips, ask us about our clear coat scratch removal.
